PRIVACY POLICY

Effective August 2026

Aleator collects no data. None.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Nothing. Aleator has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no tracking of any kind. The app makes no network requests of its own — it runs entirely on your device.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

Your run saves, statistics, unlock status, and settings are stored locally on your device and never leave it. We cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them.

PURCHASES

The optional one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive, or store your name, email address, payment details, or any other personal information from a purchase — we only ever learn, on your own device, whether this Apple ID owns the unlock. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

IF YOU EMAIL US

If you write to Grant@aleatorgame.com, we obviously receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it to answer you and nothing else. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share it.

THIS WEBSITE

This site runs no analytics, sets no cookies, shows no ads, and loads nothing from third parties — the fonts are served from this domain, not from Google. The site is static files served by our hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs that we do not use or analyze.

CHILDREN

Aleator is rated for adults due to frequent simulated gambling and is not directed at children. Since the app collects no data, it collects no data from children.

CHANGES

If a future version of Aleator ever changes any of the above — for example, by adding optional crash reporting — this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the app's App Store privacy label will be updated to match. We won't quietly start collecting something and tell you later.
